Welcome to DELTAROLL, an unofficial Deltarune-inspired tabletop roleplaying game!
Create dark worlds of your own as a GM, or go on adventures in said Dark Worlds as a player. DELTAROLL is designed to be a simple system that is appropriate for people new to tabletop games, while still being familiar to those already experienced with TTRPGs.
The Player's Handbook contains everything you need to make a character and begin playing. It includes:
- Options for playing as both a HUMAN or MONSTER.
- Unique abilities for each SOUL trait.
- Over 20 sample SPELLs, and guidelines for making your own.
- Over 20 sample Styles that allow you to customize how you ACT and your magic.
- A robust tactical combat system.
The GM's Guide holds what you need to run your own game of DELTAROLL. It features:
- Advice and checklists for making your own Dark Worlds.
- Guidance for converting to a more UNDERTALE-like world.
- A simple and open system for crafting enemies based on templates.
- Numerous ITEMs for the players to find and use.
- Evolving mechanics you can introduce as the Chapters go on, such as a growing Castle Town.
Finally, the Darkner Directory has every enemy from Chapters 1-4 of DELTARUNE, useful whether you want to use them directly or to inspire enemies of your own.
DELTAROLL is a complete, playable experience already, but it will continue to be improved.
What you can expect in the future:
- Typo correction, balance changes, etc. based on feedback
- Darkner Directory to be updated with Chapters 5+ of DELTARUNE
What may be coming in the future:
- More Custom Art
- Custom Enemy Bestiary?
- Sample Campaign?

Hi,I mostly just want to show my support for the project,I am adapting it a bit to work for running a larp, and it is a wonderful thing to work off of. I can tell a lot of work and passion has been put into this, and I am grateful to have access to it to work from.
nice this looks so cool, this is the second undertale/deltarune ttrpg i have found, the other is called dialtone if you are wondering
Will Darkners be added as playable races eventually?
Yes-ish. (They just use the same rules as monsters.)
Will chapter 3 and 4 be added soon, this is my new fallen down basically.
Yes! A big book + update is in production and will probably release next month!
Ty so much.
This is awesome, I am running a game, and me and my players are having a lot of fun. I keep referencing Spamton to mess with my friend who is playing and absolutely hates Spamton. I decided to have it take place in the Deltarune universe after Chapter 2, the players play as two other heroes who Ralsei forgot to mention the first explanation of the Legend. Also, just wanted to say I had to adjust the Act mechanics a bit since they definitely weren't designed for one player trying to kill everything (he will get his consequences).
